Today is Kite Flying Day! (Yes I too find it a bit bizarre that the day designated to fly a kite occurs in the middle of winter). Nonetheless, it is the perfect opportunity to use promo products such as kites to promote one’s brand! Kites have historically been used for a variety of different purposes. On ancient China, kites were used to measure distances and test wind strength and directions, as well as communication for military operations. In Japan kites were flown to keep evil spirits at bay. Today kites are generally used for recreation – and kites that are promo products can be used to advertise one’s brand!
